Declare the leave #
Open the employee profile, click Start offboarding. Enter the end date, reason (resignation, end of contract, retirement, dismissal) and last working day.

Choose the journey #
Illizeo offers several templates per reason. Pick a standard one or a custom journey built by your HR team.

Assign tasks #
Manager, IT, HR and the employee automatically receive their tasks. You can reassign or add ad hoc steps.

Track progress #
The Active offboardings dashboard shows completion per case. Late steps are highlighted red.

Close and archive #
Once every step is done, click Close. The system archives the profile, cuts access and exports the final file.

Security and access #
On the end date, Illizeo automatically disables SSO, revokes the employee’s API tokens and notifies the admins of connected third-party tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, GitHub, etc.). For unconnected tools, an IT checklist is generated.
FAQ #
What happens if a step is late?
The owner receives a reminder 48 h before the deadline, then daily once overdue. The manager and HR get an alert past 5 days late.
Can I cancel an offboarding started by mistake?
Yes, until the end date is reached. The Cancel button reactivates the employee and restores access.
How is the work certificate generated?
An automatic step drafts a certificate based on reviews and the role’s responsibilities. HR can edit and send it for signature.
Are exit interviews anonymous?
You can set them anonymous: only aggregated stats are returned, never individual answers.
