Getting started & rollout

How long does it take to set up Illizeo?

For an SMB (up to 100 employees), expect on average 3 to 5 working days from account creation to production: employee import, agreement setup, module configuration.

For organisations with 500+ employees and multiple entities: plan 4 to 6 weeks with a structured onboarding program.

Is there a trial period?

Yes, 30 days free, no credit card required, full access to the platform and all essential modules. Start now.

Can my existing data be imported?

Yes. We offer CSV/Excel imports for all modules (employees, contracts, leave balances, payroll history). For legacy ERP/HRIS, dedicated connectors and tailored migrations are available.

Do I need a consultant to get started?

No. Illizeo is designed to be self-driven: intuitive interface, configuration wizard, video tutorials and full help centre. For complex projects, we offer Premium Consulting.

Can I test with my real data?

Yes. The trial period lets you import your data, configure your modules and verify everything works before subscribing. If you decide not to continue, your data is deleted within 30 days.

Pricing & subscription

How does pricing work?

Illizeo is billed per active user per month, with annual or monthly commitment. Core modules are included in every plan; advanced modules (payroll, signature, performance, AI…) are added à la carte.

Are there setup fees?

No setup fees for standard plans. Projects requiring tailored support may include onboarding fees, documented in advance.

Can I change plan during the contract?

Yes. You can upgrade at any time, the price difference is pro-rated. Downgrade is possible at the renewal of the commitment period.

Which currencies are accepted?

CHF, EUR, GBP, USD and most major currencies. Currency is auto-detected based on your country.

Can I cancel at any time?

Monthly subscription: yes, with 30 days’ notice. Annual commitment: at term, with 60 days’ notice. Your data is exportable for 30 days after contract end.

Security & compliance

Where is my data hosted?

Your data is hosted exclusively in Switzerland and the European Union, with ISO/IEC 27001 certified providers (Infomaniak in Switzerland, European datacenters). No US transfer without safeguards (SCCs, DPF).

Is Illizeo GDPR compliant?

Yes. We apply GDPR articles 28 and 32: DPA, TOMs, vetted sub-processors, data-subject rights, designated DPO. See our DPA and TOMs.

How is my data encrypted?

At rest: AES-256. In transit: TLS 1.3+. Backups are also encrypted in segregated environments. Keys are managed via an Illizeo-owned KMS.

What happens in case of a data breach?

In accordance with GDPR article 33, we notify you within 72 hours max. Our incident process includes detection, qualification, remediation and documented reporting.

Which tools does Illizeo integrate with?

Over 100 native connectors: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Teams, Stripe, DocuSign, Adobe Sign, Okta, plus the leading ERPs and Swiss/French/Belgian payroll software.

Is there a public API?

Yes, a complete and documented REST API on developer.illizeo.com. Webhooks, SDKs and a sandbox environment included.

Can I enable SSO?

Yes. SSO supported via Microsoft Entra ID, Google, Okta, Auth0 and any SAML 2.0 or OIDC provider. Included from the Standard plan.

Can I connect my existing payroll software?

Yes. Native connectors for the leading payroll tools. For unsupported tools: configurable exports or tailored integration via the API.

Modules & features

Which modules are included in the base plan?

All essentials: directory, profiles, contracts, leave & absences, attendance, ESS (self-service), expense reports, preliminary payroll, e-signature, scheduling. See plan details.

Can I customise workflows?

Yes. Approval workflows configurable without code (drag & drop), with rules, conditions, escalations, notifications and logging.

Is AI enabled by default?

No. AI modules (HR assistant, sentiment analysis, suggestions) are opt-in. You stay in full control: per-feature activation, EU/CH AI hosting.

Is the mobile app available?

Yes, on iOS and Android. All essential features are available: leave, attendance, payslip, expense reports, scheduling, directory.

Can I manage multiple legal entities?

Yes. A single platform covers multiple entities, collective agreements and countries, with group-level consolidation and granular per-entity permissions.

Support & success

What are the support response times?

Standard support: response within 4 business hours. Premium support: within 1 business hour with a dedicated engineer and SLA on critical incidents.

Is support available in English?

Yes. Our team responds in English, French and German. All human support staff are based in Switzerland or the European Union.

Is training included?

Yes. Live onboarding (kick-off, configuration, admin training), full help centre, videos, monthly webinars, and a certification programme.

Can I have a dedicated Customer Success Manager?

Yes, in Premium and Enterprise plans. The CSM organises QBRs, tracks adoption, identifies risks and co-builds your roadmap.
