What happens when a salary is modified after a month is closed?
The closed month is locked: no direct retroactive change is possible. If the change must apply retroactively, the AI automatically computes the corresponding catch-up and adds it to the current month, with justification visible on the pay slip. To actually touch the closed month, you must explicitly un-approve it in the Payroll module — an operation traced in the audit log.
Can a raise be scheduled in advance?
Yes. You enter the new salary with a future effective date (e.g. 07/01/2026). It appears in the employee’s history as a “scheduled change” and triggers automatically on the planned month. You keep the trace of the decision without risking forgetting to implement it.
How do goal-based bonuses work?
You define the goal (label, period, frequency), its KPIs (name, weight %, target) and the distribution mode (end of period, by month…). The AI computes attainment (sum of % × weight) and proposes an amount. You approve manually before the bonus enters payroll. Ideal for sales bonuses, annual bonuses or project-based goals.
Are salary advances deducted automatically?
Yes. Once an advance is approved through the workflow, you choose the deduction month. The amount is automatically subtracted from that month’s pay slip, and the history remains visible to both the employee and HR.
Which export formats are available for the payroll software?
Excel (.xls multi-sheet with formatting), CSV (compatible with all accounting software) and PDF (printing / archiving / sending to the accountant). Native connectors planned for Sage, Cegid, Pennylane, Indy. API available on Enterprise for custom integration.
How do variation alerts work?
You define a global threshold (e.g. ±10%). Every time you check the draft, the AI compares each employee’s gross to the previous month. Any breach generates an alert visible in the “Alerts” tab with the details (variation %, old amount, new amount) and the likely cause.
