Which PoE badging devices are compatible with Illizeo?
Illizeo connects to physical badging devices powered and connected over PoE (Power over Ethernet 802.3af / at), with RFID reader, PIN code or QR code. We help you choose the hardware based on your context (workshop, branch, multi-site) and handle installation. If you already own badging devices, we check compatibility before deployment.
Can manual entry, Clock In/Out and badging device be combined for the same employee?
Yes. A single work profile can authorize several modes (e.g. web Clock In/Out from headquarters, PoE badging device in the workshop, manual entry while remote). Clock-ins accumulate in the same timesheet and the AI detects any duplicates.
How is overtime calculated for CH and FR?
For the Standard CH 39h profile: 40h/week threshold, tier 1 (40-45h) at 125%, tier 2 (45h+) at 150%. For the Standard FR 35h profile: 35h threshold, tiers (35-43h: 125%, 43-48h: 150%, 48h+: 200%). Everything is configurable per profile and per contract. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays can be counted as OT or as a separate premium.
How do automatic allowances work?
You define the allowances (meals, transport, vouchers, night premium, on-call) with their triggers (time, location, duration, schedule) and amounts (flat rate or hourly). The AI cross-references each clock-in with these rules and computes the eligible allowance in real time. The result goes into payroll variables, hands-off.
How does on-call mode work?
You define an on-call schedule (who is on call, which weekend, which time range). During on-call, a flat-rate allowance is paid. On trigger (intervention), a premium hourly rate applies. Everything is logged and sent to payroll automatically.
Can overtime be converted into comp days?
Yes. You enable the comp time bank counter (or time savings account) and authorize conversion from the OT, night, Saturday, Sunday or holiday counters. The employee can convert their balance into comp days via a request, approved by the manager. The equivalence (e.g. 8h = 1 day) is configurable.
Can each clock-in be attached to a project for rebilling?
Yes. On every clock-in — Clock In/Out, PoE badging device or manual entry — the employee can select the project they’re working on (the AI suggests the right one based on their habits). The hour is immediately consumed against the project budget and marked as billable or not. When a milestone fires, the attached hours are consolidated and sent to your billing software for client (external) rebilling or as an inter-BU (internal) analytical entry.
What’s the difference between raw clock-in export and payroll variables?
The raw clock-in export is a CSV one row per day with arrival, breaks, departure, total: useful for audit or import into a third-party tool. The payroll variables export is consolidated per month and per employee: regular hours, tiered OT, night, allowances, absences. Format ready to load into any payroll software (Sage, Cegid, Silae, ADP…).
