How does automatic hour linking work?
When an employee logs hours in Time tracking, the AI proposes the most likely project based on the team or recent habits. They validate in 1 click or adjust. The hour is immediately consumed against the matching sub-project’s budget and appears in the project manager’s dashboard.
How do I rebill expense reports to a client?
When creating an expense report, the employee selects the project. If the project is in external mode and the expense is marked as rebillable, it is automatically added to the next consolidation sent to your invoicing software at the next milestone. You can also trigger an interim push at any time.
What’s the difference between internal and external projects?
An external project has a final client: automatic push to your invoicing software, billable milestones, margin tracking in EUR / USD / CHF. An internal project has no external client: analytical breakdown between BUs, internal rebilling (transfer pricing), cost tracking in equivalent hours. Both types coexist in the same module.
Can I set a budget in hours and a budget in cost?
You choose per project: budget in hours (e.g. 2,000 h for the Dev v2 project) or budget in cost (e.g. €45,000 for the Geneva project). The AI automatically converts hours to cost via role-based rates to give you both views. Configurable alerts at 80%, 100%, 120%.
What roles exist on a project?
Member (hour and expense entry), project manager (task management, validation, alerts), sponsor (read-only on budget and profitability), controller (rebilling, accounting export), administrator (configuration). Roles are configurable per project or globally.
How do billable milestones work?
You define milestones at project creation (e.g. signature 30%, delivery 40%, go-live 30%) with amount and date. As a milestone approaches, the AI notifies the project manager and accounting. On validation: hours + linked expenses for the period are consolidated and automatically sent to your invoicing software to generate the invoice.
