The Sending history tab lists the emails sent from your space: to whom, which one, in which language and when. Use it to check that a message did go out, for example when an employee says they never received their invitation. This article is for the administrators of your space.
Before you start #
- You need the “Email delivery log” permission at the Access level (role matrix, Platform administration section, Emails group). By default, only the Administrator role holds it.
- The history contains personal data (recipients’ names and addresses, message subjects): only give this permission to the people who need it.
Opening the history #
- Open Settings › Manage Illizeo › Email.
- Click the Sending history tab.
- Choose the period at the top left: 7 days, 30 days (the default) or 90 days.

The Sent counter gives the number of emails sent over the period. The table below shows one row per recipient and per sending, from the most recent to the oldest, in pages of 20 (Previous, Next):
| Column | Content |
|---|---|
| Date | The day of sending. |
| Recipient | The person’s name and address. |
| The template name and the message subject. | |
| Lang | The language the message was sent in. |
| Status | Sent: the message was handed over to Illizeo’s sending service. |
The history includes every email sent from your space, whether it comes from the template catalogue or not.
Finding a sending #
- Type a name, an address or a word of the subject in the Search field.
- Widen the period to 90 days if the sending is older.
- Click the row: a panel opens on the right with the template name, the recipient, the subject, the language, and the date and time of sending. The cross closes it.
Exporting the history #
- Set the period and, if needed, the search.
- Click Export CSV.
The file contains the rows matching the period and the search, with the date, the recipient’s name and address, the template, the subject, the language, the status and the provider of each row (column headings are in French). It opens in a spreadsheet. You can run five exports per hour at most.
Good to know #
- The history shows that a message was sent, not that it was read: a sent email may end up in the recipient’s junk folder.
- Test sends made from the template editor are not included.
- Sendings linked to a module that is no longer activated in your space are hidden. Nothing is deleted: they reappear if the module is activated again.
- An email addressed to several people gives one row per recipient.
FAQ #
An employee says they did not receive an email that appears in the history. #
Check with them the address shown in the row, then their junk folder. If the address is wrong, correct it in their profile; the next email will go to the right address.
An expected email does not appear in the history. #
Check that its template is not disabled (see Automated emails: catalogue and activation), then the person’s notification preferences and the company locks (see Setting company notification defaults and locks).
