The For me group of the Training module gathers everything that concerns you personally: your next action, your mandatory courses, the catalogue, your certifications, your certificates and your skills. This article walks through these screens and is for every employee. To follow a lesson, take a quiz or hand in an assignment, see Taking an online course.
Before you start #
- The Training module must be enabled for your organisation.
- One of your roles must hold the My training space permission (FORMATION section, ESPACE APPRENANT heading of the role matrix): it opens every screen described here, along with the actions that only concern you (enrolling, taking a course, self-assessing).
- To request training, you also need the Training requests permission at the Execute level.
- Your account must be linked to your employee record. If it is not, the screens report that your employee record is not linked to your account: let HR know.
My home #
Training › My home is the screen that opens when you click Training. It reads from top to bottom:
- the banner: if a course is under way, it shows how far you have got and offers Resume; otherwise it reads “Ready to start?”. The Continue button takes you to your next action. Three figures follow: “Trainings completed”, “Learned this quarter” (in hours) and “Certificates earned”;
- In progress: the courses you have started;
- To do — Compliance: your mandatory courses with their deadlines (“3 day(s) overdue”, “today”, “tomorrow”, “in 5 days”…). When everything is up to date, the screen shows “Nothing due right now”;
- a box for your path, if one is assigned to you, with the number of steps completed;
- cards linked to your other roles: your team’s requests awaiting your decision if you are a manager, your trainer workspace if you run sessions, the training plan and analytics if you manage training.

My path #
Training › My path shows the steps of your onboarding or role path, in order, with the day of the path (“Day 4 of 30”) and the number of steps done. The “Your contacts” section lists your manager and, where relevant, your buddy and your HR contact; the Email button opens your email client.
Each step shows its type (“Online course”, “Classroom session”, “Assessment”, “Document to read”, “Meeting”, “To do”, “Certification”) and its state (“Locked”, “To do”, “In progress”, “Done”, “Overdue”).
- Start opens the course in the course player; Take it opens the assessment.
- “Document to read”, “Meeting” and “To do” steps are ticked off with Mark as done once you have done them.
- Other steps complete when you actually do them: a mandatory course cannot be ticked off by hand.
If mandatory courses are overdue, an alert appears at the top of the page and your manager is informed.
The catalogue #
Training › Catalog lists published courses. Search by title with “Search a course…”, filter by category with the chips, or show the courses you have put aside with Saved (the bookmark icon on a card adds a course to that list or removes it). The button on each card tells you where you stand: Discover, Resume or Review.

The course page #
The course page shows the duration, the format (online, classroom, internal) and the level, followed by “Overview”, “Learning objectives”, “Programme” and “Prerequisites”. If you are missing a prerequisite, the page tells you, but you can still enrol. The panel on the right gives the language, the provider for an external course, and whether a certificate is issued.
The main button depends on the course:
- Enrol: enrolment is immediate, the message “You’re enrolled.” appears and the course opens in the course player;
- Request this course: the course commits budget (a classroom, external or paid course) and goes through a request approved by your manager and then by HR. The button takes you to the Training requests page, where you file the request with New request (see Requesting training and getting it approved);
- Resume or Review if you are already enrolled.
If the course has “Upcoming sessions”, each session card shows the date, the venue, the trainer and the seats taken (for example 7/12). Click a session to choose it before clicking Enrol; a “Full” session cannot be chosen. Your enrolment in a session is confirmed by email.

Lessons in progress #
Training › Lessons in progress lists the lessons you have opened without finishing, most recent first. Resume reopens the lesson exactly where it is.
My certifications #
Training › My certifications shows each certification you hold or your job requires: its status (“Valid”, “Due soon”, “Urgent”, “Expired”…), the date obtained, the expiry date, the provider and whether the certificate is on file. Your manager and HR see the same deadlines.
- If a renewal is already scheduled, the card says so: there is nothing for you to request.
- Otherwise, for an expired certification or one close to its deadline, the Submit a request link takes you to your training requests.
My certificates #
Training › My certificates gathers your training certificates. A certificate is issued after a classroom session, once the attendance sheet is closed; it states the hours actually attended. Partial attendance or objectives not met are mentioned on it.
- Download the PDF, Print, Send by email (your email client opens with the verification link), Add to LinkedIn.
- Copy public link copies the address of the verification page, the same one as the QR code in the “Authenticity” section.
The verification page is open to anyone, without signing in: a recruiter or an auditor can see whether the certificate is genuine or revoked, the course, the hours attended and the date of issue, without your name.
My skills #
Training › My skills shows, for each skill of your job, the level retained, the required level (“Required 3”) or the target set for you (“Target 4”), and who made the assessment (self-assessment, manager, peer, test, certification). With Self-assess, choose your level, optionally add what it is based on, then click Save. Your view is added to your history; it does not replace your manager’s assessment, which takes precedence for the level shown.
Notifications #
Training › Notifications, My inbox tab, gathers the module’s reminders: certification expiring or expired, mandatory course overdue, session reminder, session cancelled, decision on your request. Clicking one opens the relevant screen; Mark all as read clears the counter. Marking an urgent alert as read does not resolve it: it stays flagged as still open until the situation changes.
Good to know #
- Only published courses appear in the catalogue; a course still being prepared stays hidden.
- A mandatory course assigned to you also appears in My path and in “To do — Compliance”.
- Some notices, such as the outcome of an assignment review, arrive by email and in Illizeo’s general notifications rather than in My inbox.
FAQ #
Why is there no Enrol button? #
The course commits budget, so it goes through a request: hence the Request this course button. If no button appears at all, you do not have access to training requests: contact HR.
I attended a session but have no certificate. #
A certificate is only issued once the session’s attendance sheet is closed. If it is taking a while, check with the trainer or HR.
