The timesheet brings together your days for the month: hours clocked or entered, breaks, absences and the status of each day. This article explains how to read it, enter or correct a day, repeat a day, submit the month, recall a submission and export your time entries.
Before you start #
- Open your timesheet from the Presence tab of your profile, or with the My attendance quick action on the dashboard.
- Permissions used (role matrix, “attendance sheet” section): “View own attendance sheet” (Access), “Enter / Edit time entries” (Execute), “Submit the sheet for approval” (Execute). By default, all employees have them.
- An attendance profile must be assigned to you. Without one, the timesheet shows “Attendance profile required”.
Reading the timesheet #
The header shows your working-hours profile (the eye icon shows its details), the Expected/d, Worked, Expected and Balance tiles, the Export and Sync buttons, the month and, while drafts remain, the Submit button.
The tabs you see depend on your permissions:
| Tab | Content |
|---|---|
| Timesheet | One row per day of the month. |
| Hour Counters | Overtime, night, weekend and time account balances (see Hour counters). |
| History | The last 12 months: number of entries, balance and status; a click opens the month. |
| Allowances | The month’s calculated allowances (see Allowances and on-call). |
With the roles supplied, an employee only sees the Timesheet tab of their own sheet; the other tabs are reserved for HR, managers, payroll managers and administrators.
In the Timesheet tab, the columns are Date, Start – End, Duration, Project, Progress, Breaks, Absence and Status. A day’s status can be “Draft”, “Submitted”, “Pending”, “Approved”, “Rejected”, “Missing”, “Holiday”, “Day off” or “Upcoming”. Badges flag anomalies: “Unjustified”, “Rest!”, “1/2 day missing”, “Conflict”, “Not submitted”, “Odd punches”, “Late”, “Clock-out to confirm”.

Entering or correcting a day #
- On the day’s row, click the ··· button (tooltip “Edit”).
- Fill in the day according to its form (see below).
- Click Save. The message “Day saved” confirms it.
The form of the day comes from your profile’s schedule:
- By times: add segments with + Work, + Break, + Lunch or + On-call, then enter the start and end time, a project and a “Comment…”. An empty day opens pre-filled with your planned schedule.
- By duration: enter the Worked duration (for example 7h30, 7.5 or 450). This is net time: no break is deducted from it.
- Day-rate: choose Half day or Full day. Hours do not apply.
On the day’s row you can also set a Presence reason (remote work, travel, training…), if your company has defined any. Below the grid, the “Public holidays and non-working days worked” section lets you choose between time off and payment for a public holiday worked.

Deleting a period #
There is no button to delete a whole day: open the day, click the bin icon of the segment, then Save. The bin of a clocked period (badge clock, web, mobile) only appears with the “Delete a clocked period” permission, which employees do not have by default.
Repeating a day #
- Click the Repeat icon on the row, Repeat day in the editor, or tick several days and use Repeat in the selection bar.
- Set the recurrence: every N days, weeks or months, ending on a date or after a number of occurrences.
- Tick the options to copy projects and comments if needed, then save.
The recurrence window is displayed in French whatever your language (“Répéter tous les”, “Se termine”, “Copier les projets”, “Copier les commentaires”, “Enregistrer”). Public holidays, rest days, approved absences and days with locked payroll are skipped. Closed days fail; the message tells you how many days were updated and how many failed.
Submitting the month #
- Check your days, then click Submit (n), where n is the number of drafts. To submit only some days, tick them and use Submit drafts (n).
- If the “Submission warnings” window opens (missing days, for example), correct them or click Submit anyway.
- If your profile requires the rest periods statement, the “Rest periods” window asks whether you respected your rest periods; if not, explain why.
Some situations block submission (“Cannot submit”): overlap with an approved absence, inactive project, legal limit or daily maximum exceeded, mandatory break missing. After submission, a note recalls the date, the approver, the number of entries, the time worked and the balance.
Recalling a submission #
Until your submission is approved, the Recall submission button makes the month editable again. Once approved, only HR or the approver can recall it, and only before payroll for the period is approved.
Exporting your time entries #
- Click Export.
- Choose the format (CSV, XLSX or PDF), the period (month, quarter or year) and the month or year.
- Click the download button.
The export window (“Exporter les pointages”) is displayed in French whatever your language: “Format d’export”, “Période” (Mois, Trimestre, Année), “Télécharger”.

Good to know #
- Entry closing: by default, the previous month stays editable until the 5th of the month inclusive; after that, no day before the 1st of the current month can be created, edited or deleted. Your company can change this day (1 to 27), for everyone or per profile.
- An approved or submitted day can no longer be opened for editing, nor can a day while you are clocked in.
- A day keeps its form: a day entered by times cannot be rewritten as a duration, and vice versa. A duration cannot exceed 24 hours; a segment entered by hand cannot cross midnight.
- Two adjoining segments of the same kind are merged; a break inside a work segment is accepted; other overlaps are refused.
- Removing every segment of a day and saving does not clear the day: keep at least one segment.
- Your profile may forbid entering time in advance. A future month can never be submitted.
- Exports from the timesheet are limited to 10 per hour. A quarterly or yearly export may download nothing: export month by month instead.
- A colleague’s timesheet opens from the Presence tab of their profile, if your role gives you access to their attendance data.
