Two reports deal with absences, from two complementary angles. Both require the Absence management module; without it they do not appear in the catalogue.
Absence days #
A heatmap crossing months and departments. The darker a cell, the more absence days that department accumulated that month. This is the view that surfaces seasonality, or a team in difficulty.
Absence rate #
Two separate blocks on the same page:
- the weekday distribution — it reveals Mondays and Fridays, if there is anything to reveal;
- the rate trend over the selected period.
Days or rate: which to look at #

A high day count in a large department does not mean the same as the same count in a small team. The rate corrects for that size effect; the day count does not.
