A survey’s detail page brings together its state, its calendar and its results. Launching and closing are done from there.
The four states #
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Being written, invisible to participants. |
| Scheduled | Published, but the opening date has not been reached. |
| Open | Invitations have gone out, answers are coming in. |
| Closed | Closed to answers; results are consolidated. |
Launching #
On a scheduled survey, Launch now opens the campaign without waiting for the planned date. The invitation email goes out immediately to every participant.
Tracking #
The page shows overall and per-department participation, the timeline — opening, closing, reminders sent —, the duration, and the PMF scores with the gap against the previous cycle where one exists. While there are not enough responses, the screen says there are no results yet rather than showing figures that mean nothing.
Closing #
Close shuts the survey to answers. On a recurring survey, the next cycle is prepared and the closed cycle becomes the comparison base.
Duplicating #
From the list, Duplicate recreates an identical survey as a draft, suffixed “(copy)”. Handy for re-running a campaign without starting from a template.
