Major natalist reform introduced in 2020:

• 1st-2nd child: AMD 50,000 (≈ €120)
• 3rd child: AMD 1,500,000 (≈ €3,600)
• 4th-5th child: AMD 1,000,000 (≈ €2,400)
• 6th child and beyond: AMD 1,500,000 (≈ €3,600)
• One-off payment at birth via Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs
• Set up to stimulate birth rate (1.71 in 2023)

Targeted Family Allowance

Paid to vulnerable families via the Single Social Service:

• AMD 16,000/month per child 0–18 (≈ €38)
• Conditions: family vulnerability score ≥ 30 points
• +AMD 18,000/month for disabled child
• Monthly payment to bank account
• ~100,000 child beneficiaries

Childcare Allowance (2024 reform)

Allowance for parent caring for child 0–2:

• AMD 30,000/month (~€72) for insured parent for 2 years
• +30% bonus for low-income families (since 2024)
• Stackable with targeted family allowance

Pregnancy and Maternity benefit

Maternity leave paid by the State Social Security Fund:

• 140 days (70 before + 70 after birth) at 100% of salary
• 155 days for complications
• 180 days for twins+
• Capped at AMD 600,000/month

Paternity Leave — 5 days (since 2017)

5 days of paternity leave at 100% of salary, to use within 30 days of birth. Paid by employer.

Survivor pension — Children Bonus

For children of a deceased insured:

• AMD 32,000/month per child orphaned of one parent
• AMD 64,000/month per child orphaned of both parents
• Paid until age 18 (23 if studying)
• Stackable with other aid

Nurseries — Մանկապարտեզ

Public nurseries for 2–6:

• Yerevan: ~AMD 10,000–30,000/month by income
• Expanded public places programme 2023–2027
• Meals included for low-income families
• Pre-school (5–6): free in public sector
