# Respond to a survey

You receive an email invitation with a personal link. That link works for you only, and only once.

## Going through the questionnaire

1. The opening page states whether the survey is anonymous and roughly how long it takes, in minutes and in number of questions. Click **Start the survey**.
2. Answer question by question. A counter shows your progress as "4 of 12".
3. Depending on the survey's settings, a **Back** button lets you revise an earlier answer. If it is not there, the survey does not allow it.
4. Finish with **Submit**. A thank-you screen confirms your answers were recorded.

## Question formats

| Format | What is asked |
| --- | --- |
| 1-5 scale | A slider from "Strongly disagree" to "Strongly agree". |
| NPS | A score from 0 to 10, from "Not at all likely" to "Very likely". |
| Single choice | One answer among the options offered. |
| Multiple choice | Several answers; the number selected is shown. |
| Free text | A comment. These questions are marked as optional. |

## If the link does not work

- **Invalid or expired link** — the token is no longer valid; ask your HR team to send a new one.
- **This survey is closed** — the closing date has passed.
- **You have already responded** — one response per person.
