# Request a waiver

A mandatory benefit cannot be left with a click. If you are already covered elsewhere — through your partner's plan, for instance — you can ask to be waived.

## Submitting the request

1. On the benefit card, click **Request a waiver**.
2. The request goes to your HR team with the benefit name. A message confirms it was sent.
3. Until it is decided, the request stays **Pending**. You remain covered in the meantime.

## The three possible outcomes

- **Approved** — you stop being covered by this benefit and the contribution ends.
- **Rejected** — the cover is maintained. Your HR team will explain why.
- **Pending** — no decision has been made yet.

## Optional benefit

If the benefit is not mandatory, no waiver is needed: **Unenroll** is enough, and it takes effect immediately.
