# Campaigns, reports and budget simulation

## Running an enrollment campaign

1. **New campaign**, then a **Title**, a **Start** and an **End** date.
2. The target defaults to the active headcount: there is no list to build.
3. During the campaign, follow **Responded**, **New enrollments**, **Waivers** and **Pending**.
4. Use **Remind non-responders** midway, then **Close** at the deadline. The campaign joins the history with its final rate.

## Reading the reports

- **Employer cost by category** — the employer share multiplied by the number of people actually covered, benefit family by benefit family.
- **Adoption rate by benefit** — members over the eligible population set on the benefit.

## Simulating a budget

Two sliders — **Employer rate** and **Estimated adoption rate** — recompute the **Scenario cost** against the **Current cost**, with the **Monthly impact** and the **Annual projection**. **Reset** restores the starting values.

## What the projection leaves out

A benefit with no employer rate — a flat employer match, say — is not projected: moving a rate slider means nothing for a fixed payment. Those benefits are excluded from the scenario and named below the total. The **Current cost** shown therefore counts only the projected benefits, so the comparison covers the same perimeter.
